Q: What is online fuel oil delivery?
A: Online fuel oil delivery is exactly what it sounds like: ordering Heating Oil online. In today’s age of online shopping where you can order virtually anything with just a few clicks of a mouse or taps of a screen, why not get your home’s heating oil delivered right to your doorstep instead of going out to the store?
Q: How does online heating oil delivery work?
A: To order fuel oil from Suffolk Oil, all you need to do is head to our website – SuffolkOil.com. You can use any device that has access to the Internet and click “Order Oil Online” on the left side of the screen.
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: If you would like to pay by credit card, just enter your information on our secure platform. If you would like to pay with cash, make sure the total costs (including taxes) are paid before 7:00 A.M. on the day your heating oil is scheduled for delivery. We do not accept checks.
Q: How much oil can I order?
A: We have a variety of container sizes you can choose from. Under the “How many gallons would you like to order?” tab, you’ll find a selection of containers in the dropdown menu, ranging from 25 to 5,000 gallons. Or you can select “fill my tank” if that’s what you need.
Q: Are your products inferior to full-service fuel companies?
A: Local oil companies might sound like they’re cheaper, but they are not. They buy from the same fuel suppliers as we do and have the same overhead costs. What makes us different is that we offer more affordable prices to our customers than the full-service companies.
Q: What if my oil tank is empty?
A: If you tank is empty, on the “Equipment and Tank Information” page for our online ordering page, please tell us that you need to have it primed. When an oil tank is empty, it needs to be set up properly as well as started. We offer this burner service for the affordable price of $65–much less than many other fuel oil delivery companies.
Q: Do you deliver on weekends and holidays?
A: During the winter season, which runs from November 1 to April 30, we do not make deliveries on Sundays or holidays. During summer, which runs from May 1 to October 31, we do not make deliveries on Saturdays.
